Community Resources in time of need

Well, excuse me for being blunt, not only is the government shutdown becoming an excuse not to feed people, but apparently, more big corporations are also deciding to lay off massive amounts of employees. Even before this, job seekers were reporting difficulty even securing interviews, let alone employment at all.


So, if you are in this camp, I am so sorry. It’s not your fault. You may have never had to ask for help before, and I see you and hope you will see your worthiness, even if resources become scarce. Please seek support, you deserve it just be existing! I wish I could give you a big hug through this webpage! We need each other, so please hang in there and use these resources.


If you are privileged to be able to help, there are so many ways. I am so encouraged by the volume of people on social media compiling these resources and asking to help! Thank you all! 

If you have the finances, please donate to the actual funds for these organizations or organize giving drives in your office or community spaces. Let's get through this stronger and more connected to each other!
