Coping with self-harm

Self-harm is far more common than most realize. Aside from the forms that one would imagine, many do not realize how many other forms it can take. Self-harm is an attempt to cope with complex feelings, it is rarely an actual suicide attempt.


If you or someone that you know struggles with self-harm, professional help is needed but hospitalization may not be required. Please talk to a qualified professional to determine needs but when in doubt reach out for medical support.
