Gratitude is an important daily practice. Unfortunately we tend to forget to practice it until Thanksgiving. We want to make sure it feels realistic. It can be as simple as saying I am grateful to have a roof over my head but it should feel sincere so as you contemplate your gratitude, you get a true felt sense of this is good or maybe been great.
Perhaps we could use the reminder of Thanksgiving to start a daily practice in November. Writing them down will bring increased awareness. Try to do it daily but as often as possible for you. Some people like to start a jar for the year so perhaps you will keep this going as a visual reminder.
